Denver Haunted Houses

Denver Haunted Houses After I grew up a little and was willing to rebel against my parents I was able to go to a few Denver Haunted Houses. But I noticed something whenever I stood in line, and I bet if you go to any Haunted House in Denver you will find the same thing I found; Egos.

Denver Colorado.org supports Haunts

Colorado HauntsA ghost story will prepare even the biggest ego for a good scare. When you’re with a friend and you know he or she is going to pretend to be brave, just start telling ghost stories. Tell them at home before you leave, tell them in the car, and tell them while in line. I guarantee you and your friends will take a simple trip to a Denver Haunted Houses, and you’ll feel hunted, so let’s just a call it a Hunted House. Do this and you’ll be running home scared!

Great Haunted Houses in the Denver Area

http://denvercolorado.org/arts-and-entertainment/entertainment/denver-haunted-houses/

If you’re going to go to a Haunted House, go the only way that makes sense; for fun. Try to take the lead, or stay in the back, the middle of the group isn’t fun. But what makes a Haunted House really fun, ghost stories. Think about it when we sit around a camp fire, roasting marshmallows we have fun. But it isn’t till we start telling ghost stories that our joyous environment suddenly becomes spooky. So the trick to a fun trip to a Colorado Haunted House is ghost stories!

{Remember|Do you remember|Recall} {sitting|sitting down} {around|about|all around|close to} the camp fire as a {kid|child} roasting marshmallows? {Nothing|Absolutely nothing|Nothing at all|Practically nothing} about that memory was {scary|frightening|terrifying}, {until|till|until finally|right up until} {someone|somebody|a person|an individual} {decided|determined|made the decision|made a decision} to {tell|begin} a ghost {story|tale}. All of a sudden the {environment|atmosphere|surroundings|setting} {became|grew to become} terrifying, and you couldn’t {stop|keep} {yourself|your self|oneself|by yourself} from {looking|searching} your shoulder. You couldn’t {help but|keep from} stare into the shadows {and wonder|with surprise|and ponder|and question} if {someone|somebody|a person|an individual} or {something|some thing|monster} was staring back. But out of nowhere your neighbor bumps your arm and you {jump|leap}. Why did you {jump|leap}, {because|simply because} you {were|had been|have been|ended up} {prepared|ready|well prepared|geared up} to be {scared|frightened|afraid|terrified}!

You can see how {powerful|effective|potent|strong} a ghost {story|tale} can be in {preparing|getting ready|planning|making ready} {someone|somebody|a person|an individual} for a scare. Well the {same|exact same|identical|very same} {principle|theory|basic principles} applies for {visiting|going to|checking out} one of Denver’s {best|very best|greatest|finest} Haunts you {need|want|have} to be {prepared|ready|well prepared|geared up}, and we’re going to {help|assist|aid|support} you. We’re {going|planning} to give you {the beginning|the starting|a portion} to a {few|couple of|handful of|number of} ghost {stories|tales}, but you and your {friends|buddies|pals|close friends} and {family|family members|loved ones|household} have to finish the {story|tale}. In fact {finish|end|complete} the ghost {story|tale} on the way to Denver’s {best|very best|greatest|finest} Haunts.

Have fun and don’t forget to look over your shoulder!

Axe Murder
Susan and Ned were driving through a wooded empty section of highway. Lightning flashed, thunder roared, the sky went dark in the torrential downpour. "We'd better stop," said Susan. Ned nodded his head in agreement. When he stepped on the brake, the car started to slide on the slick pavement. They went off the road and slid to a halt at the bottom of an incline.

Black Aggie

When Felix Agnus put up the life-sized shrouded bronze statue of a grieving angel, seated on a pedestal, in the Agnus family plot in the Druid Ridge Cemetery, he had no idea what he had started. The statue was a rather eerie figure by day, frozen in a moment of grief and terrible pain. At night, the figure was almost unbelievably creepy; the shroud over its head obscuring the face until you were up close to it. There was a living air about the grieving angel, as if its arms could really reach out and grab you if you weren't careful.

Black Magic

Mad Henry was a hermit who lived alone in a decrepit mansion at the edge of town. Rumors were rife about the wild-eyed man. Some folks said that he was a magician who called upon the powers of darkness to wreck havoc upon his neighbors. Others called him a mad doctor who could restore life to foul corpses from the local cemetery. No respectable citizen in town had anything to do with Mad Henry

Don’t Turn On The Light

She commandeered the room in the basement of her dorm as soon as she realized she would have to pull an all-nighter in order to prepare for tomorrow's final exam. Her roommate, Jenna, liked to get to bed early, so she packed up everything she thought she would need and went downstairs to study . . . and study . . . and study some more.

Jack O’Lantern

After a long day of unlucky hunting, I found myself stuck in the middle of the marshlands for the night, without a flashlight or a lantern to guide my stumbling steps. So I settled beside a fallen log to rest until daylight. As I tossed and turned, I recalled the story my great-uncle told me about a ghost that haunted the marshlands.

Well there you go! I hope you, your family and friends enjoyed the Ghost stories, and be sure to visit Denver’s Haunts.

First Look at Man of Steel Young Superman

Hey Movie Nerds, Austin again. It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s a pip-squeak. The first image of Dylan Sprayberry as the younger version of Clark Kent from Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel has hit the net. Dyan on the right in the picture above is standing next to a couple of kids that will be Clark’s Smallville friends. Doesn’t Dylan kind of look like Tom Welling from the TV series Smallville?

New Total Recall Trailer

Hey Movie Nerds, Austin here. Another trailer for Len Wiseman’s take on Total Recall. Sure the new Total Recall trailer offers tons of action, and could potentially pull off a solid movie, but I love Arnold’s Total Recall. I’m just a little worried that this movie will be tons of special effects, and miss the charm of adventure Arnold’s Total Recall had in abundance. Also where is Mars? I haven’t scene anything in the trailers, the photos and I’m not even sure if I’ve heard the word Mars mentioned once? Though I did chuckle when the new Total Recall trailer offeeds a nod at the famous “3 Boob” scene. I really hope this Total Recall rocks, but I guess we’ll have to wait till August 3rd to find out.
Take a look at the new Total Recall trailer below and tell me what you think in the comments below!

Starship Troopers Remake

Hey Movie Nerds, Austin here. It’s been known for awhile that Robert A. Heinlein’s 1959 sci-fi novel didn’t get a faithful adaption to the big screen with the first movie that came out in the 1990s, even though it was rather cool in and of itself. But don’t worry purists there will be a Starship Troopers remake.

Big New Marvel Movie Announced

Hello Kitty Funeral Accessories

I've got to be honest with you, I don't know a thing about "Hello Kitty" except.....that the fans LOVE everything Hello Kitty. Well today in "Hello Kitty Things That Somehow Exist" we get burial accessories! Death has never been... cuter? Ok, I don't know. This is just one of those odd things that you look at, question other people's sanity and move on....hehe

It seems someone took my rant about the future a few weeks ago to heart, and created a real hovering Back to the Future 2 hoverboard...hehe

Drive With Your Mouth

Today in non-cosmetic body piercings: A group of engineers at the Georgia Institute of Technology have created a way to control, well, just about anything (but most likely, things like wheelchairs) with a combination of a magnetic tongue piercing and a paired retainer. The user would press the tongue piercing against different parts of the retainer to send signals. Shift into neutral! Pretend like you're saying the word "lilt"!

Large Asteroid To Crash Into Earth 2040

All eyes are on the asteroid Apophis, but a new threat--just 460 feet wide--dominated the conversation at a recent meeting of the UN Action Team on near-Earth objects (NEOs). Known as 2011 AG5, the asteroid could well be on a collision course with Earth in 2040, and some are already calling on scientists to figure out how to deflect it.

Steampunk Batman Leaked Video Game Video

A couple years back Game Nerds got excited when F.E.A.R. 3 developer Day 1 Studios started work on a steampunk Batman game called Gotham by Gaslight. Concept art for the cancelled game was uncovered in January and today a gameplay video was released.

How To Train Your Dragon TV Series Trailers

DreamWorks Animation’s How to Train Your Dragon was one of my favorite films of 2010, and now TV Nerds are getting a TV show based on the movie called, "Dragons." The show has been in the works for a while now, but it’s finally set to air this fall on Cartoon Network and the first trailers for Dragons have gone online. The trailers are actually interspersed with a bit of footage from the movie, but the TV scenes are pretty evident when they pop up (ie. TV animation ≠ film animation). Executive producer Tim Johnson previously talked a bit about their direction for the show early last year:

Robert California Leaving The Office

Scranton, Pennsylvania and the offices of Dunder-Mifflin are about to get a lot less cool. EW has word that James Spader, who has been playing the perplexing and intimidating Robert California, will be leaving The Office after becoming a series regular for just one season. Spader himself decided to leave the show, and I can’t say that I blame him. This season has been wholly unremarkable despite Spader’s best efforts and mostly entertaining appearances, but the NBC comedy series just doesn’t have the heart or comedy that Steve Carell brought every week. Of course, even in the later seasons with Carell still on board, the show was beginning to lose its flare.

New Avengers One Sheet Poster

Well this Movie Nerd is pleased with The Avengers' newest one sheet. But this brand new poster is just the tip of the ice-berg. Yes Marvel has assembled a brand new one sheet, and yes it is awesome, but what I really want is the new trailer which should be coming out any day now. But this new poster will have to do.

Two New Wrath Of The Titans TV Spots

Movie Nerds are getting two new TV spots for Wrath of the Titans which you can check out below. This Titan sequel picks up a decade after the last movie, I guess that means everyone sat around and played checkers for ten years? Anyways, Wrath of the Titans is looking good and I hope it's better than our last go around the Greek Gods playground.

Leaked Star Trek 2 Video

Just the other day Movie Nerds got a big gift in the form of Star Trek 2 movie set photos, and now Splash has sneaked off the set some behind the scenes video. Unfortunately the video is narrated by this annoying sounding guy, but hey, I'll endure for Star Trek 2.
