Keanu Reeves has been hinting for years now that he might someday show up in a third Bill & Ted movie opposite Alex Winter as Bill S. Preson, Esquire… but no one really took it seriously. Keanu was too famous, seemed like he was too far past that character, and the idea of revisiting them at all, no matter how beloved they are, felt ridiculous. But Keanu hasn’t been in anything significant since Day the Earth Stood Still flopped in 2008 and really, you have to look all the way back to the second Matrix movie in 2003 to find an all around successful film with his name toplining it.
