I remember when the PS1 came out, back when it was just called Playstation, and the system hadn't impressed me much. But than came Twisted Metal, and for some reason that was the perfect game for me in my life. I just wanted a destruction derby/customize my car with machine guns game. I don't know why I wanted something like that, but I did, and now Brian Taylor, of Neveldine and Taylor, has made a seven figure deal with Sony Pictures to direct the feature film adaptation of the popular video game Twisted Metal. I say awesome.
Neveldine and Taylor brought us such cinematic classics as Crank and Crank 2: High Voltage. Their new film, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, opens Friday. Sony must be very pleased with the results to sign Taylor to the Twisted Metal film.
